Anxiety

Anxiety-Poem-Ocean

Anxiety:
Paralyzed
Shallow breaths
In a hole
The darker depths
Of losing control
Yet tightening grasp
On all that holds
What I dreamt best
Taking hold
Gripping chest
Meet the mold
That others set
Fake the smile
Lost inner child
Go the extra mile
No time to rest
Leaders lead
Following falls
Behind the cloak
Of darkened mind
Don’t look back
Soaring by
No gripped reigns
Just teary eyed
Anxious chest
Nervous stomach
Known to be blessed
But about to plummet
S.O.S!!
