What was the last book you read? What did you think of it?
Well I’m currently reading The Subtle Art of Not giving a F*ck by Mark Manson. I love this book! I have 100 pages left and I’ve learned a lot about myself and others by reading this. It’s less about not giving a fuck all together and more about choosing what is important and what is not. You know, strategically placing your fucks, lol.
Who is the woman who inspires you most?
One woman that inspires me besides my mom, would have to be Tracee Ellis Ross.
What is your favorite concert you have ever attended?
HANDS DOWN Jack Garratt! Got tickets to see his show in LA as an anniversary present and this man is a gift from the musical heavens above. The way he performs it like a completely different version of the song and it’s just as good if not better. You have to witness it!! Not to mention he did a mash up of 7 days by Craig David & Senorita by JT. *Insert mind-blowing gif* but his opener Kacy Hill was dope AF too.
Describe your perfect date?
I’m not really into the whole expensive dinner at a fancy restaurant thing (they never give you enough food anyway). I would love to do something active or adventurous. Something we can look back on as actively making memory. Realistically my perfect date would probably involve tacos, a picnic, and star gazing.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Lying or not telling the whole truth. I always find out in the end. You’re better off telling me everything up front instead of me finding out in bits and pieces later. People say they lie to protect someones feelings when they’re really just protecting their own. I think the reason I hate lying so much is because it takes away a person’s opportunity to choose and warps their reality.
What’s your weirdest, useless skill?
I can pick up stuff with my feet and toes which in actuality is really gross because I hate feet.
What was your best Netflix binge?
Jane the Virgin, hands down. Daredevil Season 1 was the fastest.
What is your dream job?
Fantasy dream job would be a chef, or working for Tastemade. I would love to be able to travel the world creating content about different food & dishes from around the world. But realistically, doing something that will make a positive impact socially while still being financially stable.
Tell us something you’re looking forward to in the next year?
I turn 25 this year and I feel like it’s been the one thing I’ve been looking forward to the most so I can rent a car, haha. All jokes aside I guess I’m looking forward to focusing more on myself, healing and experiencing life on my own, it’s scary but I think it’ll help me learn a lot about myself and my true desires in life. Learning to be more selfish and a little less selfless.
What is your biggest irrational (or rational) fear?
Rational fear: I know everyone dies but I’m extremely afraid of my mom dying and also the feeling of abandonment.
Irrational fear: Not being able to touch the ground in the pool.
What was your favorite BuzzFeed list in the last 3 months?
Who is your celebrity crush?
Michael BAE Jordan, Tom Hiddleston and Jessie Williams, Hasan Piker… Sorry, I couldn’t pick just one.
