Like a ghost, my fleeting emotions vanish effortlessly,

Weaving in and out of my creaking bones.

Always wavering, flickering in a dimly lit cavern

Of my chest.

The hushed, barren wasteland of a heart uncertain,

Weighs unpredictably heavy on a body

Not built for being alone.
