What’s your weirdest, useless skill?

My mom was a baton twirler when she was a teenager, so I begged her to teach me this flashy skill when I was a kid and I’ve never looked back (even though no one has ever needed me and my baton in a pinch).

What was your favorite BuzzFeed list in the last 3 months?

I actually have this one saved on my desktop because I read all the damn time and am always looking for new “underrated” books.

What was your favorite book as a tween?

Sarah Dessen’s The Truth About Forever

Who is your celebrity crush?

Tom Hiddleston! [insert heart-eyed emoji here]

What was your best Netflix binge?

A few months ago, I started watching Supernatural with my family and WE ARE HOOKED like fish in a net of awesomeness.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

When people are late!!!! (The exclamation points are symbolic of my angst.)

What is your biggest irrational (or rational) fear?

I am petrified of large-ish bodies of water (even pools, okay?!). Realistically, I know that there are no sharks/crocodiles/water monsters in most of the areas where I swim, but my amygdala hasn’t gotten the memo.

How long did it take you to learn how to ride a bike?

I just texted my mom to ask… She says, “About 30 minutes.”

Who is the woman who inspires you most?

I’d say that women, as a whole, inspire me.

What is your dream job?

Writer/author/person who writes all the things.

What was the last book you read? What did you think of it?

The last book I read was Charlotte Brontë’s Jane Eyre. IT WAS AMAZING. YOU MUST READ IT AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK BECAUSE I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN, EVEN THOUGH I THOUGHT I WOULD NOT LIKE IT AS MUCH AS I DID. *CAPS off*

What was the last mind-blowing fact you learned or realized that shifted your worldview?

Okay… Long story: yesterday, I was looking through pictures of the Gilmore Girls’ reunion when I came across a picture of Doyle (Danny Strong) and Paris (Liza Weil). I ended up clicking on Danny Strong’s Instagram, which is where I learned that he is also the creator, writer, and producer of the show Empire. Now, I do not watch Empire (I want to, but haven’t had the time), but this fact just blew my mind for some reason.

Oh! AND he also wrote the screenplay for the two-part finale of The Hunger Games trilogy. NO BIG DEAL.
