What was your favorite BuzzFeed list in the last 3 months?

24 Times Corgis Failed So Hard But Were So Cute It Didn’t Matter!

What is your go-to mid-night snack/comfort food?

My midnight snacks tend to gravitate toward whatever is easy and within reach. Peanut butter on toast has been my go-to as of late, as well as chocolate (it’s always chocolate)! As far as comfort food goes … nachos. Cheesy, gooey nachos. Mmm!

Who is your celebrity crush?

Sebastian Stan. Swoon! I fell in love with him when he starred in Kings on NBC. I travelled to New York City in 2013 and managed to catch him in play called Picnic on Broadway! I was lucky to meet him after the show, and he was so wonderful, kind, and affable that it made me adore him even more. Definitely a high point in my life, and I’m not the least bit ashamed to admit it.

What was your best Netflix binge?

It was last year when I was introduced to Orange is the New Black. The second season was days from being released, and my fella was amped. I hadn’t seen the first season yet, and as we lived in a tiny basement apartment at the time, declarations that he was going to watch it whether I was around or not forced me to finally watch that first season. We finished the first and second season in about a week in a half. Regrettably, we had to make time for work and life in general, otherwise we would’ve been done much sooner!

What is your biggest pet peeve?

People who lack situational awareness. When you’re out in public (especially in a city), I think that it’s just common courtesy to be aware of others and your surroundings. Not in a “make eye contact with every other human and tip your hat to them” sort of way, but just being aware that you are not the only person in the world, and not doing things like stopping in the middle of a busy sidewalk, blocking a doorway while having conversations with your friends, those sorts of things!

What is your biggest irrational (or rational) fear?

Spiders. Goodness gracious they give me the heebie jeebies! I opened my blinds recently to find hundreds of baby spiders clinging to my window (outside, thankfully), and promptly closed my blinds and cried a little.

Who is your femme crush and why?

It is, without a doubt, Taylor Swift. I’m a fairly recent fan of hers, and it’s mainly because of how impressed I am with all that she does for the people in her life. Whether it be her family, her friends, or her fans. She just seems like one of the sweetest, most genuine people on the planet, and I think we could benefit from having more people like her in our world.

Who is the woman who inspires you most?

Though it may be cliche to say, I don’t care in the slightest – it’s my Mum. All of my life she has been everything to me – a teacher, a confidant, a friend, a provider, a counsellor, and so much more. She has taught me so much, I’ve never felt more comfortable with another human than I do with her. I am so glad that I am at an age where she can be both my friend who I am share stories with, and my mother when I need someone to just cry to. I am a better person for having her in my life.

What is your dream job?

I’ve wanted to be a writer ever since I was a teenager, so being able to make that my job full time (and not when I have the free time to squeeze it into my life) would be the dream. Failing that, I’ve also entertained thoughts of being a personal assistant to … Chris Evans or something like that. Hey, it could happen!

When was a time you felt most complete?

It was probably Christmas morning of 2014. My boyfriend and I were in our hometown for Christmas holidays for about two weeks. We spent the majority of our time at my folks’ place, so I got to experience Christmas morning, one of my favourite days of the year, with my parents, my sister, and my partner. In those moments, my family felt complete, and so did I.

What was the last mind-blowing fact you learned or realized that shifted your worldview?

Cows have best friends. Learning that animals have an emotional depth that we don’t necessarily expect them to always boggles my mind a little bit.
