What’s your weirdest, useless skill?
It took years of convincing my parents to get a dog when I was younger, so I did a lot of research. Consequently, I know a weird amount of various dog breeds.
What was your favorite BuzzFeed list in the last 3 months?
Hands down—“Hermione Granger and the Goddamn Patriarchy” which re-envisions the entire Harry Potter series with Hermione as the main character. I am so grateful for the people that take the time to make these things.
Who is your celebrity crush?
JGL. Or Chris Pratt. And I’m shamelessly a Nick Jonas fan for life.
What was your best Netflix binge?
Breaking Bad. I’m still not over it.
What is your biggest irrational (or rational) fear?
Rational—being kidnapped. I guess that’s not the most rational thing but my dad watched too many crime dramas growing up.
Irrational—butterflies. I have no explanation for this, but I’m terrified.
What was your favorite high school extracurricular?
I’m a theater geek through and through.
Who is your femme crush & why?
Kristen Wiig for her fearless funniness and because I relate to her tall gangly body which she uses to her advantage in nearly every sketch or scene she’s in. “Surprise Party Sue” and the “Target lady” may or may not be my alter egos.
What is your favorite concert you have ever attended?
The Head and the Heart, any of the three times I’ve seen them.
Describe your perfect date?
They come over. We nap. The End.
What was the worst date you’ve ever been on?
One of my Tinder dates told me (without prompting) if he had to choose a vegetable his penis looked like, it’d be an eggplant. I later found out a friend went on a date with the same guy and he said the same thing. Who compares their genitals to produce on a first date??
Who is the woman who inspires you most?
It cliché, but my friends inspire me! They’re all so different, doing lots of amazing things with their lives. All of them are hard-workers, big dreamers, and even bigger doers—they make shit happen. And I’m happy to know them.
What was the last mind-blowing fact you learned or realized that shifted your worldview?
Humans have the exact same percentage of salt in their blood as ocean water. People often use this fact to prove evolution but I just love the idea that we’re made up from the same stuff as the ocean.
